If the court denies an application for a license to dispense prescription drugs within the 7 years and such application is brought before the expiration of such 7 years, the court shall set an effective date for the period within 5 years of the original license to dispense prescription drugs. (d) If the court grants an application for a license to dispense prescription drugs under subsection (b) of this Section, that license is valid throughout this State for a period of not to exceed 2 years from the date of issuance. (e) The provisions of this Section do not apply to the sale, dispensing, or administering of a prescription drug or the possession of prescription drug articles for medical purposes.
